Gabinete Cotidiano 〰️
The debut piece of the collection, Gabinete Cotidiano, combines corrugated polycarbonate sheets, common in garages, warehouses and workshops, with Tzalam, a tropical hardwood native to the Yucatan Peninsula. Together, the resulting piece becomes a sculptural object that plays with transparency, mystery and precision.
Forthcoming pieces currently in production include the Mesa Quilt, a coffee table that evokes the use of patchwork and disparate individual elements in quilting to create a distinctive ensemble, the Mesa Ojo, a side table made from a circular glass block, as well as a credenza and a ceiling lighting fixture.
